Services

Services are held bi-weekly on Friday evenings, during most of the year, generally at 8:00 PM with an oneg shabbat following. On the last Saturday of the month there is a Havadallah service at 5:30 PM followed by an adult evening out. A call to our office will provide you with recorded messages about times and events of the congregation. The prayer book Gates of Hope is used for our weekly services. On the high holy days The Gates of Awe is used. Both books are available for visitors.

Services are open for all. High Holiday seating is reserved for Members first, but tickets are available for purchase, please call our office at 440-255-1544

Temple Am Shalom is sensitive to the diverse religious needs of our members and their families during the 21st century. Our programs take into consideration the religious traditions and history of our members. Aspects of traditional Judaism are explained while humanistic concepts and relevant issues are integrated into services and programming. Historical and traditional concepts are also explained both formally and informally.
